Museum of Contemporary Native Arts, Santa Fe: Mom and Dad M visit!

When the Marinos visited in September, we got to visit a new (to us) museum in Santa Fe, and we were able to catch a very cool arts and crafts show while there.

It was a very warm day and the city was crowded, but we found a parking spot within easy walking distance of the plaza.
In the 1960's Native American artists struggled to be accepted in the contemporary art world.

Mom and Dad M also spent couple of days in Santa Fe while we were at work.  They stayed at the charming Old Sante Fe Inn, and visited the Museum of International Folk Art.

The four of us spent some time in Madrid checking out the shops and walking through the village.

 Then we headed for...

Just kidding -- we headed for dinner at the Taj Mahal, of course!
